Baby girl bouquet

Good Morning, Welcome back to my blog!
A little bit frosty outside the last couple days, a bit of white on the ground. The days are getting cooler and a bit shorter, a sure sign that winter is approaching hopefully not for a few more months.

For this post on my blog I made a GREAT baby gift for my niece and added a fabulous tag I made from Whimsy Stamps made by designer Lia Stampz. The tag is called Baby Girl and there is also one for a baby boy they are super cute, cute, cute.
This gift is made using newborn diapers rolled into little roses and put into a bouquet in a vase filled with wonderful little baby things like a book, lotion, washcloths, spoons, baby shampoo and a lot more. I was surprised how much stuff I could actually get in this vase. My niece loved it, it looks like a bouquet of roses but everything is usable, and I love that part of this gift.

MR Baby Moose

Hi great to see you!
It's definitely starting to feel a bit like fall out there the wind is a bit cooler than it has been. I sure have been enjoying these last few days of great weather though. Last night we got our first frost, yikes. I sure hope that fall is long and warm and none of that white stuff for a while.
This is a card that I made using a  Miss Rach digi called Baby Moose.  Super cute and great for a guy card, those seem to be a bit harder to make, without sticking girly things on them like flowers. This one is a perfect image for that.
You can hope over to the Whimsy Stamps store to check out this and other great images. Click here to jump over to the Whimsy Challenge blog to get daily inspiration on great projects and cards made with wonderful Whimsy images.
This is my inspirational card for today.

Well, Well we are in the last week of August already.

Inspiration card Aug 15

Great to see you again!
I have been busy, busy again. It seems that things go bursts of busy in my life. That I won't be busy or doing to much in a day then all of a sudden it gets super busy with a million things that all have to be crammed into a couple days. I had planned a little get away for a couple days with my daughter, then a unexpected appointment came up so things got rearranged. It all worked out but changed a few plans, nothing major. Our get away just happened a bit later that's all. Crazy how stuff happens. So I get a couple days away with her, I am glad everything has worked out. I'm hoping that things get a little more organized and less chaotic from now on for a little while anyways. Ya right, LOL.
I have been coloring some really great images from Whimsy Stamps and now will be making some inspiring creations to share. This cute little image is called Big Love from Marika Collins. I tried doing something a bit different with the image I tried using a glaze pen for a different effect, it turned out ok but the photo had a lot of glare cause of the glaze. I tried retaking the picture but could not get the clarity that I wanted.
So this is my inspiration card for this week, I hope you  can be inspired to create something different and wonderful today.

I tried something different using a sewing zipper to make a flower. I like the effect that I got. I've never tried this before it was easy so I'm sure I'll use this technique again.
Supplies: Bazzill cardstock, Spellbinders- Label Eighteen, standard circles, Large inverted scalloped circle, Memory box Fresh Foliage, Penny Black sentiment eloquence, Tim Holtz bricks embossing folder.

Have a super wonderful day
Thank you for stopping by.

August Challenge card.. Clean and simple

Welcome back to my blog!
It's raining here today and suppose to be that was for a few days, hopefully not to long cause July zoomed away. I would really like to enjoy August before we get into fall and thrown into winter again. Time zips by so darn fast.
So the next few days will be a perfect day for making cards and crafting cause you really can't do to much outside on days like this.
The challenge at Whimsy this month is clean and simple.
What is your take on clean and simple, some people add a few things just not as many as they typically would. I think clean and simple is not to much for patterned paper, no embellishments, and clean lines. So this is my challenge card for clean and simple, very faint patterned paper with one piece of ribbon and a bow. This card to me could have a ton more stuff on it. If you have seen my work before you will know what I mean, and is you haven't been here before thank you for stopping by. I love the detail of flowers and embellishments. So I really hope that you decide to make a card and put it in our challenge this month at Whimsy for a chance to win some terrific stamps from Whimsy.
This stamp is from designer Marika Collins and is called Summer. If you would like more information about the details of the stamp click here. You should click here and jump over to the Whimsy inspiration blog to join in on our challenge clean and simple for this month, or to just get inspired to create something wonderful today.

A bit closer look at the image "Summer"
